NATIONAL SPORTS ORGANISATION (NSO)
The national sports organization also known as (NSO) was established by Sports Authority of India in the year 1984. It is a nationwide movement to instill physical awareness amongst the youth. The National Sports Organization is an effort by the Government of India to promote the development of athletics and sporting activities with the youth of India. The department of Physical Education conducts session for NSO students in activities like yoga, taekwondo and aerobics. Intramural competitions in caeom, badminton, throwball, leg- cricket and athletics are also organized to encourage participation of students in activities. Students showcase their respective activities on various events and tournaments.
