ICT FACILITIES

ICT is a powerful tool for teaching and learning. The college encourages staff and students to develop lifelong learning skills and to explore the capability of ICT to meet the current as well as the future challenges in an increasingly inter-connected world.

The college is completely technology enabled. The internet and Wi-Fi connection is always available for the staff and students. There are LCD projectors, laptops, speakers, cameras , interactive boards, digital board, dell sonic firewall, router managed switches. All these resources are well utilized to make teaching and learning meaningful.

For the maintenance and the upkeep of the computers and other IT infrastructure, the institution has full time lab attendants, who manage the whole campus area networking and handle the troubleshooting of computer systems and other accessories.

The Available ICT facilities in the institution are as follows:

College Administrative Office: Administrative office of the college is furnished with high configured computer systems with internet and Wi-Fi connectivity, attached with  printers.  The college has Biometric System to monitor the movement of the staff.

Digital Library: There are 12 computers with internet and Wi-Fi connectivity available for the students and teachers to access electronic resources.

Seminar Hall: The College has a seminar hall which is equipped with latest audio video technology and sound proofing system.

Computer Laboratory: Is well-furnished with two servers and 70 systems with high configuration and Wi-Fi connectivity, an interactive board with a LCD projector having an Internet and Wi-Fi connection.

 Technology Enabled Classrooms: The College has dedicated eight Smart Classrooms with interactive boards, projectors, speakers, internet and Wi-Fi connection.

Browsing Centre: The College has a Browsing Centre which is equipped with adequate number of computers with 20 mbps dedicated lease line (jio).  The staff (teaching and non-Teaching) and the students   have an access to internet and Wi-Fi connection. They can use the available computers in the institution for curricular and co-curricular activities like Power Point presentation, seminars and assignments etc. The staff avail the ICT facilities to enhance their teaching competencies and for their research.

Software: The College has Software License Agreements with Microsoft and Adobe   “Microsoft Campus Agreement under cloud Technology” and “Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise”. The institution uses predominantly Windows 10 and 8.1, MS office 365, Tally ERP9 Photoshop, Corel Draw, ERP software, Campus Whiz, Inflibnet, Ms Teams.
