HOSTEL

The college was established in the year 1904; it has an illustrious history of 117 years. There is a hostel facility in the college which provides a home away from home . The students are accommodated in three major blocks, Thevenet Block, Marian Block and Dina Block. The hostel rooms are comfortable, well furnished and impeccably maintained.

FACILITIES PROVIDED IN THE HOSTEL:

  • The entire hostel is provided with Wi-Fi connectivity.
  • CCTV cameras are installed for security. Round the clock security guards are on duty in the entire campus.
  • Solar water heating system is are installed for hot water.
  • Wardens and housekeeping services are provided in all the blocks of the hostel.
  • Meals are served in a spacious and well ventilated dining hall. It is also utilized for activities and celebrations like Teachers Day and Christmas celebrations etc.
  • There is a mess providing hygienic, nutritious and delicious meals, with a lot of variety in the menu.
  • Special meals are provided on Feast days of Sisters and festivals.
  • The students have an access to a TV room.
  • Water filters/ ROs are installed for clean and safe drinking water.
  • Leisure and sports facilities are available to the students residing in the hostel.
  • Concerned and compassionate sisters of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary tirelessly monitor the well being of the students.
  • A hostel representative is nominated by the students and the Principal.
  • Activities like dancing, singing, games and celebration on Christmas and other festivals are organized.
  • The sisters and the students pray in the chapel and find solace in this peaceful space.
